About Me

I have lived in Margaree, Cape Breton for almost my entire life, apart from a few brief years across the Causeway to obtain a smattering of education. While I enjoy the occasional travel, I also know that there is a great deal of enjoyment to be had close to home. I started this blog to keep track of where I've been, and to infrequently pass on the link to someone who might be interested. My boyfriend Russell and dog Ella are commonly found in these pages, but I refrain from posting about many others. New to the blog is Baby Phillips, who will be hitching a ride in my belly for the 2014 hiking season.
